Recycled Scallop Shells

"Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed" as stated by Lavoisier.

Whether you are a lover of the sea or not, you will appreciate this oyster knife whose handle is made from finely crushed scallop shells compacted in transparent resin.

It's surprising, but it's virtuous: if during the time of the Vikings, knife handles were made from antlers found in the forest. Nowadays, our waste must become both ecological and playful.

In France, recycling alternatives exist, such as the valorization of these shells in the form of powder, intended for feeding chickens or fertilizing agricultural land.
