This Laguiole bread knife with ebony wood handle and stainless steel bolsters is made in the village of Espalion in France in the historical area of origin of the Laguiole knife.

The blade is made of 12C27MOD stainless steel, with a high hardness, offering an exceptional cutting tenacity and an excellent resistance to corrosion.

The bread knife is the only kitchen knife that is serrated because the pressure of the blade is concentrated on the ends of the teeth, allowing them to easily penetrate the hard crust without crushing the bread while cutting.
