This Laguiole bread knife with ziricote wood handle is made in the village of Espalion in France in the historical zone of origin of the Laguiole knife.
The blade is made of 12C27MOD stainless steel, with a high hardness, an exceptional cutting tenacity and an excellent resistance to corrosion.
The bread knife is the only kitchen knife that, by definition, has serrations. These serrations prevent the bread from crushing during cutting. The pressure of the blade is concentrated on the ends of the serrations, allowing them to easily penetrate the hard crust.
Due to the unique nature of handle materials, yours may differ slightly from the one shown above.
