Care Instructions: Oil application to any type of wood or horn is not advised as it may alter the natural color and texture. Besides, no one wants to dine with oily cutlery. If required, it's recommended to use natural beeswax for maintaining the luster of the cutlery handles. The beeswax nourishes deeply, provides protection against moisture, and allows the material to breathe.

Cleaning: For cleaning, it is recommended to use warm water and mild dish soap on the metal parts, ensuring water does not come into direct contact with the handle. The handle can be wiped clean with a slightly damp cloth. Remember to dry the forks thoroughly after washing to avoid any water stains.

About Olivewood

For centuries, olivewood has been a popular material for crafting knife handles due to its striking appearance and durability. Its golden yellow color, beautifully shaded and exhibiting either a knotty or linear pattern, adds a touch of elegance to any knife.

Renowned for their slow growth in arid, barren soil, olive trees produce wood that is exceptionally hard and dense - surpassing any other European-native wood in hardness. This slow growth results in a highly resilient material that withstands the test of time.

The olive tree's irregular branch structure bestows the wood with unique properties. Each tree's distinct knotty shape yields a one-of-a-kind pattern, ensuring that every olivewood knife handle is truly individual and unmatched. This timeless, natural beauty makes olivewood an enduring favorite for knife enthusiasts and collectors alike.
