About Morado Wood:

The morado wood is relatively rare in Europe. It can reach more than 25 meters in height. in Brazil Morado wood is hard and dense. Its color is very variable and can go from yellow to black through brown and red.

Morado is a wood of many names and it is sometimes called Pau Ferro. Because the wood is similar in working properties to rosewood (not the color), it is also often referred to as Bolivian or Santos Rosewood.

Morado is distinctive for its dark brown to violet color with black streaks or striping. It is notably hard and dense, with a dimensional stability similar to that of red oak.

How to use a Laguiole en Aubrac Sommelier Corkscrew:

Remove the capsule: Use the serrated blade of the sommelier to cut the capsule around the neck of the bottle.

Clear the cork: Locate the center of the cork with the sommelier's corkscrew. Insert the tip into the center of the cork and turn it clockwise to drive the screw in three-quarters of the way.

Extract the cork: Place the lever on the neck of the bottle, hold it with your hand, and gently pull the cork upwards by pulling on the sommelier.
