Cheesewood (Alstonia congensis) is a tropical wood species native to Central and West Africa, valued for its fine grain and uniform structure. Naturally light in color, it is most often enhanced through coloring processes that bring out its full visual potential.
For this model, the Cheesewood has been tinted in a soft pistachio green shade, highlighting its smooth surface and natural elegance. This wood is particularly suited for knife handles due to its stability, lightness, and the excellent finish it allows.

Engraving examplesHow to use a Laguiole en Aubrac Sommelier Corkscrew:
Remove the capsule: Use the serrated blade of the sommelier to cut the capsule around the neck of the bottle.
Clear the cork: Locate the center of the cork with the sommelier's corkscrew. Insert the tip into the center of the cork and turn it clockwise to drive the screw in three-quarters of the way.
Extract the cork: Place the lever on the neck of the bottle, hold it with your hand, and gently pull the cork upwards by pulling on the sommelier.
