Its handle is made of snakewood , its thick steel blade is sharpened and rounded at the end. It will facilitate the cutting of cold butter as well as the spreading of soft butter, marmalade or spreadable paste. This Laguiole butter knife with its snakewood handle decorated with its famous bee is handmade in France in the heart of the Aveyron, in the village of Espalion.

Thanks to its round and wide blade made of 12C27MOD stainless steel with a high hardness (56/57 HRC on the Rockwell scale) which makes it an easy to sharpen steel, this butter knife allows the greediest to use it for butter as well as for honey, jam, and all other spreadable delicacies.
