This Laguiole knife is handcrafted in the Laguiole en Aubrac workshop, featuring a handle made from carefully selected olivewood. Known for its golden hues and vibrant grain, olivewood brings warmth and Mediterranean character to each piece. Every handle is unique, shaped by the tree’s age and natural growth.

Originating in ancient India and spreading across the Middle East, this technique involves layering steels with complementary properties, forge-welding them under heat, then repeatedly folding and hammering the metal.
