The handle is crafted from stabilized elder burl, dyed in fiery red and black tones that evoke nebulae, solar flares, and cosmic turbulence. Each piece of wood displays swirling patterns, as if the grain itself mirrored distant galaxies being born and destroyed.
Designed in the Laguiole en Aubrac workshop, “The Space” embodies the tension between the unknown and the beautifully visible. This knife evokes the vastness, mystery, and silent majesty of space. Its handle, made from stabilized elder burl, is dyed in fiery tones — red, orange, and black — resembling cosmic dust, solar flares, and distant galaxies. The organic swirls in the wood mimic the visual chaos of nebulae, while the satin finish creates a warm yet ethereal glow in the hand.

The 12 cm handle, made from stabilized elder burl, is tinted in dramatic flame-like shades — deep reds, amber, and black.
