Boxwood, an enchanting wood type, is characterised by its fine, uniform texture and inherent luster. Its grain typically follows a straight pattern, though it may exhibit a slight irregularity, adding to its unique charm.
The color palette of Boxwood spans light cream to yellow, which subtly deepens over time with consistent exposure to light, evoking an ever-evolving natural painting. Interestingly, there is little discernible difference between its sapwood and heartwood, resulting in a harmonious visual flow.
Boxwood's heartwood is prized for its durability, enabling it to withstand the test of time. However, it can develop dark streaks as a result of fungal attacks, adding to its visual texture over time.
